The Inclusion Speakers Story

As told by Jason Reid.

A lot has changed since 2010. That was the year I became a professional speaker on invisible disability.

Back then, most speakers were hired by seasoned meeting professionals who had developed strong relationships in the speaking community. Nowadays, many people who are searching for speakers are doing so for the first time.

As diversity, inclusion and belonging exploded in importance, my invisible disability presentations were suddenly in high demand. I quickly found out two things; first, that my presentations got amazing feedback from the audience, and second, that organizers enjoyed working with me.

Professional, reliable and easy to work with.

Those were the most common phrases that popped up when I asked for feedback from organizers.

There was only one problem. I was one person.

Also the additional topics that organizations wanted weren’t always within my area of expertise.

Fortunately, I’m also a long-time coach and mentor to professional speakers. It didn’t take long to become closely connected to several wonderful experts, whose approach was very similar to my own. I knew that if an organization enjoyed working with me, they’d like these people too!

And that’s how InclusionSpeakers.com was born.

Because of our name I had to fight the urge to list every speaker I knew who spoke on a different area of inclusion. Instead I’ve curated a hand-picked group of the top easy-to-work-with experts who I know will make your DEIB event shine.

How to Work With Us

We’ll handle things from there.

We will either connect you directly to the appropriate speaker or ask relevant questions to ensure you get the expert and program you need. You’ll also be given clear information to take back to your committee or decision-maker.

Panels, Workshops & More

In addition to our most common feature presentations, we’re also happy to put together expert panels, customized programs or more detailed workshops and learning programs.

If you’re looking for a topic not listed in our presentations still contact us. We only list a fraction of our programs. We also have connections to additional speakers if the topic doesn’t fit our areas of expertise.
